Tafari Medical Training Institute has reached a proud milestone: over 100 certified caregivers trained and graduated, now serving patients and families across Kenya. This achievement reflects not just numbers, but real impact — real people whose lives have been transformed through quality training, and who in turn are transforming the lives of those they care for.
Our graduates are now working in hospitals, clinics, elderly care homes, home-based care settings, and community health programmes. Each one carries with them the practical skills, ethical grounding, and professional confidence instilled through TMTI's competency-based curriculum.
TMTI's NITA-accredited Caregiver Certification Programme is designed around real-world healthcare needs. Students learn personal care assistance, medication management, palliative care support, dementia care, mobility assistance, and emotional support — all grounded in patient dignity and safety.
Theory alone is not enough in healthcare. That is why TMTI emphasises hands-on clinical training and supervised internships at partnered healthcare facilities. Every graduate completes their programme having experienced real patient interaction, real clinical environments, and real professional responsibilities.
As Kenya and the wider region face growing healthcare workforce shortages, TMTI is doing its part to build a strong, skilled, and values-driven pipeline of healthcare professionals. Our graduates are not only filling critical gaps locally — many are also pursuing opportunities internationally, serving as ambassadors for Kenya's healthcare talent.
Reaching 100+ certified graduates is a milestone we celebrate with deep gratitude — to our students, instructors, partners, and the patients and families who inspire everything we do. We look forward to graduating many more, and to continuing our journey of impact through education, compassion, and excellence.
